"Fells3" – Series of Three (30x30cm each)

Fells is a triptych of fibre artworks inspired by the ever-changing landscapes of the Lake District. Each 30x30cm piece captures a different mood of the fells — from misty mornings to windswept ridgelines and sunlit valleys — using hand-felted and needle-felted layers of British wool, silk, and natural fibres.

The series explores texture, depth, and movement through fibre alone, with each panel flowing naturally into the next. Subtle shifts in colour — from cool slate blues and mossy greens to warm earth and sky tones — echo the rhythm of light and weather over the hills.

Together, the three works form a quiet meditation on landscape and belonging, inviting the viewer to pause, breathe, and connect with the wild, grounding beauty of the fells.
